OPERATING THE VIA PEDOMETER

DISTANCE & STOPWATCH MODE: VIA Basic,

FM, Pulse and PanicAlarm models

In DISTANCE AND STOPWATCH MODE:

1. The upper line of the screen displays

DISTANCE TRAVELED. The lower line

displays elapsed time on the STOPWATCH.

2. PRESS the SET key to START STOPWATCH.

Press the SET key again to STOP.

3. PRESS the UP/CLR key to RESET THE

STOPWATCH back to zero.

STEP MODE: VIA Basic, FM, Pulse and

PanicAlarm models

In STEP/TIME MODE:

1. The upper display line indicates the NUMBER

OF STEPS you have taken.

2. To RESET THE STEP COUNTER, PRESS the

UP/CLR key.

NOTE: Clearing the Step counter will also reset

distance and calories burned.

CALORIE/ ODO MODE: VIA Basic, FM, Pulse and

PanicAlarm models

In CALORIE /ODO MODE:

1. The upper line displays CALORIES BURNED.

The lower line displays TOTAL DISTANCE

TRAVELED (ODO).

NOTE: The Total Distance Traveled (ODO) can

only be reset by replacing the batteries.
